You’re here because you need a designer to turn your idea into a product that sells itself.

I’m here to manifest that goal and design the branding and packaging that’s creative, modern and appealing to your future customers.

Hi, I'm Haley

Your Brand & Packaging Design Guru

ALCOHOL  |  BEVERAGE  |  WELLNESS  |  CBD  |  CPG

Since 2013 I’ve been designing for corporations, small businesses and every business in between, including my own beverage company. My goal is to share my knowledge by developing elegant creative designs that make your beverage brand stand out to your dream customers.

What makes me different from other designers?

I’ve owned and operated my own beverage brand.

As a former beverage business owner, I know the unique struggles that startup brands go through because I’ve tackled them myself. My husband and I started a meadery together; mead is a niche alcoholic drink made from fermenting honey. It was just the two of us running the biz, so I had my hands in every department. From production and distribution to marketing and taxes (the worst am I right?), we learned everything together.

There were a lot of successful moments alongside hard business lessons.

I designed and managed an informative product-based website that acquired hundreds of email subscribers. I designed monthly emails to update our subscribers about upcoming events and products. We hosted many successful events with corresponding merch like t-shirts, glassware and hats. I’m knowledgable in printing techniques like spot UV and holographic label paper.

I knew we experienced a lot of wins in design and marketing our mead. That’s when I decided to roll my design skills into a business that could help other startups take off.

Now share what I’ve learned by running an agency serving beverage companies.

My top tips?

1. MAKE CONNECTIONS WITH INDUSTRY PARTNERS

That life advice that goes something like "work your network?" Yeah, that's for businesses too. Being well-connected in an industry is crucial to ramping up success quickly. So if you're the new kid on the block, start reaching out to companies who are similarly aligned to yours – in the DMs, via email or in-person events (when you can find them). Suggest collaborating on a product together so you can gain exposure to both of your customer bases. Attend or co-sponsor an event where your product can shine.

This leads to tip #2...

2. LEARN TO ENJOY FAILURE

You won't always get the answer you're hoping for. Your dream collaboration may never happen, or something in the process might come undone. That's the hardest part, when failure is beyond what you can control. The industry can shift, a supply chain can disintegrate, or the price of an essential ingredient might increase 500%.

It’s not about what happens, it’s about how you respond to it. Find the hidden lesson, grow from it, and laugh a little.
