Elevated
Packaging Design

for forward-thinking brands

72% of consumers buy products solely based on the packaging.

Is packaging really that important?

It’s true – people really do judge a book by its cover (and in my opinion, 28% of people are lying). Subconsciously everyone is sussing everything out based on looks; it’s human nature. Product packaging is like the outfit you wear to an interview; even if you’re the most qualified, you still need to dress for the job you want. When the outside aligns with what’s inside, you have the recipe for a truly successful product.

Packaging Design Agency

Custom-branded, unique packaging designed specifically for your product

To stand out in a sea of products, your packaging can't be a copycat of something you saw on Pinterest last week. Packaging design isn't a crockpot recipe...copying designs directly can get you in legal hot water. Besides, you want to be unique and stand out from the competition. Often times, discount designers on sites like 99designs or Fiverr "borrow" designs from stock graphic websites and present them as their own, leaving you with a liability down the line.

A good designer won't leave you with a dupe or legal dumpster fire. We'll decode what you like about your reference images and turn it into an on-brand, creative and one-of-a-kind design. In my design process I create a curated mood board to walk you through different tone, style, and image to deliver designs you'll love from the first round.

What does a packaging designer do?

I translate your ideas and goals into modern yet expressive product packaging

There are so many ways to approach a design, but I always start with strategy first. Why did you create this product? What's your mission? What do you hope this product accomplishes? The intention behind your product will drive how I design the container, label and finishing touches. In the end, the outside needs to clearly explain what's inside in both literal and intangible ways.

TTB Label Requirements

Label compliance is always top-of-mind

I've owned my own alcohol brand, so I understand that compliance is a priority in all food & beverage designs. Each federal agency and government has specific guidelines, and you need a designer who you can trust to abide by those requirements. I've worked with clients in many industries that required TTB, FDA, USDA and other government organizations' approvals. You can count on me to deliver beautiful, modern, minimalist designs that also display required information.

3d product design

Pre-launch your product using 3D renderings

The 3D renderings we use during the creative process are more than just a proofing tool. Manufacturing, shipping and photographing your product can take months, so I encourage my clients to use my renderings to pre-launch before their product arrives. It's a simple way to keep cash flowing, while also hyping the latest product from your company. Win-win!

Bespoke Product Packaging

Beyond the label – custom designed packaging solutions

With the rise of social media influencers, life has become all about experiences you can share and show off. So what's going to grab attention? An on-brand design made of premium materials with special added touches like cards and stickers that say "we're thinking of you." Spark some FOMO on Insta with luxury, bespoke packaging design.

  • 01. Virtual strategy meeting

Planning makes perfect. I always start with a virtual meeting so we can get to know each other. I'll ask questions to determine what style of design you're looking for, and you can ask me any questions you may have. We'll set a deadline and I'll get to work.

  • 02. Design concepts

This is the magical behind-the-scenes part. Based on our meeting, I’ll prepare three concepts for your review. You'll see the layout variations, color palette and font selections, plus a 3D rendering of the product. All of these views should provide a clear picture of how the packaging will live in the wild.

  • 03. Revise as needed

DJ, drop the remix. I would love if I nailed it on the first round, but there's always space in the process to revise. This could look like combining the fonts from #1 and the background from #2, or adding a new element. There's no max on the amount of rounds you get – I'll redesign until you have a design you’re 100% happy with.

  • 04. Send deliverables

Once you give that stamp of approve, you’ll receive the files you’ll need to bring your product to life. This can look like a print-ready PDF, die lines, or spec sheet that communicates our vision to printers and manufacturers. I also include the 3D renderings of your product so you can launch a pre-sale and get cash flowing.
